The Butterfly Effect

“The phrase refers to the idea that a butterfly's wings might create tiny changes in the atmosphere that may ultimately alter the path of a tornado or delay, accelerate or even prevent the occurrence of a tornado in a certain location.” The flapping wing represents a small change in the initial condition of the system, which causes a chain of events leading to large-scale alterations of events.

It’s because of this vision; we at THE TORCH have decided to make every little effort worth a child’s smile. “Little drops” is an initiative by THE TORCH, where you contribute a rupee a day in a child’s life which at the end of the year helps their miscellaneous expenditures over stationary, clothes and other items. This contribution of yours can help these children truly know what it means to own something. All it takes is a rupee a day to make a difference in someone’s life, a difference that you can make.
