in students with intiative.

About Us

The TORCH TRUST is a student powered NGO that runs purely on passion and enthusiasm. Passion - to be the difference; and enthusiasm- to impact change through the work we do. We are driven by the fervor to initiate transformation and spark up light into lives of those who are underprivileged.

There are people who care, and there are those who need caring, we at the TORCH TRUST help these two ends meet.

What inspired the TORCH TRUST?

We believe the Law of attraction did.

For the bearers of the TORCH TRUST, going out of the way to help was a quality that came naturally. As students, we would visit local orphanages or conduct activities for underprivileged children. We always came back feeling incomplete, thinking “Hey, there’s so much more we can do!”

Things took a serious turn when we realized that those short visits were of no consequence and that we couldn’t make a difference until we had sufficient resource, both financial and human, to put our ideas and goals into place. After all, we were students with initiative.

We decided it was time we took matters to the next level, and do something productive. And thus, On April 17th, 2008 the TORCH TRUST was registered.

The law of attraction was evident in the way things shaped over one year. We succeeded in our every endeavor, and saw our activities and initiatives lighting up lives.
